He is a counselor at the Federation of Industries in the State of Rio Grande do Sul (FIERGS), and effective member of the Institute for Tax Studies (IET). Haroldo holds over 35 years of tax litigation experience (legal and administrative), as well as broad experience especially in fields of corporate and civil law. In the field of corporate counseling, he has advised national and international corporations in tax structuring and designing tax efficient transactions and operations.

Adriano I. de Almeida holds a master’s degree in accounting and is an accountant, lawyer and corporate advisor with over 25 years of experience in the fields of tax and accounting. He is a consultant for the Commercial, Industrial, and Services Association in the city of Novo Hamburgo (ACI-NH), holds a position as a graduate program
professor, acts as course instructor, and is partner at Lauffer Advisory.

Alexander Glaser holds a master’s degree in accounting from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He is an accountant and tax, fiscal and accounting consultant for the Commercial, Industrial, and Services Association in the city of Novo Hamburgo (ACI-NH) with over 20 years of experience in tax advisory for corporations in several industries. He acts as a course instructor, holds a position as a graduate program professor, and is a partner at Lauffer Advisory since 2000.

Alfredo Darcy Petry is an accountant and corporate advisor with over 25 years of experience in the fields of tax and accounting. He is a consultant for the Commercial, Industrial and Services Association in the city of Novo Hamburgo (ACI-NH), holds a position as a graduate program professor, acts as course instructor, and has been a firm partner since 1995.

With over 25 years of experience in tax law, Daniel Earl Nelson is a lawyer practicing the field of tax advisory and litigation. He has participated in tax structure planning and promoted the administrative and legal representation of several national and international corporations in the industries of oil and gas, food, footwear, and chemistry. He holds a master’s degree in law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and is an associate professor at Feevale University. He is a partner at Lauffer Law Offices.

Davi Lauffer is a laywer, and holds an accounting degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He is a member of the Institute for Tax Studies (IET), and holds over 15 years of experience in tax consulting and litigation, having advised multinational clients in several industries. He has held the position of Manager at EY, having worked for 2 years in Chicago/USA. For 4 years he was the leader of the tax structuring team at an American manufacturer of cranes and equipment (Terex Latin America). He is currently a partner at Lauffer Law Offices & Advisory.

Evandro Iop is an accountant with a degree from the Federal University of Santa Maria. With over 15 years of experience in the fields of accounting, tax and internal control audit, and tax and accounting advisory, he holds vast knowledge and practice in operations of tax credit recovery.

Fernando Gerhard is a lawyer, graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC/RS), with a postgraduate degree in Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law from Superior School Foundation of the Public Ministry (FMP). He has extensive experience in Consumer Law. He works in the advisory and litigious tax sphere, focusing on judicial recovery of taxes and defense of tax assessment notices.

Marcelo Poltronieri is a lawyer and partner at Lauffer Law Offices, and is a corporate advisor with broad experience in business law, especially in the fields of civil, corporate and tax law. As a consultant, he has advised several corporations in writing complex contacts that involve selling corporations (mergers and acquisitions), real estate, machinery, brands and other assets. He holds strong litigation practice in the fields of tax and customs law, aiming at recovering taxes unduly paid by corporations in several industries.
